. . . and I'm still waiting. But here are some more cheerful photos of the river. Lots of dog-walkers, older couples, skate-boarders and dads with kids on bikes, all out enjoying the winter sun.

The water level is way down again - it's all frozen up in the mountains now - but the current still makes for a fast canoe ride.
